Upcoming workshops con Contextual Computing in Tourism

Hi all! Let me write just a few words to present the two upcoming workshops on Contextual Computing in Tourism I am working on at the moment.

We (as CICtourGUNE) have been working together with Bournemouth University in the organisation of the Workshop on the Context-based Services in Tourism that is taking place later this week, on July 7 and 8. I will be twitting the event and I will post my thoughts and comments next week. This workshop is interesting because we will be looking at context stuff from a tourism perspective.

In addition, we are also organising another workshop, the Workshop on Contextual Computing and Ambient Intelligence in Tourism that will take place within the V International Symposium on Ubiquitous Computing and Ambient Intelligence, UCAmI’11 next December in Mexico. We have just extended the deadline for paper submission a couple of weeks, so you have now time submit a paper until July 22. This workshop is also interesting, because we will look at context stuff more from a technological point of view.

If you have questions or comments, please, drop some lines!
